The book trade is facing a lot of changes: new competitors, new media, and new ideas – a lot of new challenges to deal with. The book trade and the booksellers themselves have to stay in motion, but at the same time they have to keep their emotions vivid, emotions for their products, for selling them and serving their customers.
ICYB 2009 will give an inside view into new developments on the German market and make the participants think out of the box in terms of selling and presentation skills. The congress will take place in the German Booksellers´ School in Frankfurt, one of the most important book and publishing cities of Germany. Workshops and presentations at the premises of Frankfurt Book Fair and the book wholesaler KNV (Stuttgart) will complete the program.
